MAINTAINS HEALTHY MUSCULAR, IMMUNE & NERVOUS SYSTEM

A Vitamin E Supplement - (Selenium Free) 5,000 I.U. PER DOSE

The same Vitamin E that is credited with everything from a better health, increased well being, and anti-oxident properties and is every bit essential to your horse.

BENEFITS OF VITAMIN E

  • Antioxidants help maintain a normal immune system
  • Provides antioxidant support
  • May help reduce oxidative damage
  • Supports healthy response to stress
  • Supports normal detoxification processes
  • Supports respiratory health

EXERCISE & OXIDATION (FREE RADICAL SCAVENGERS)
Exercise can break down cell structure as compounds that contain oxygen accumulate in the body and require antioxidants such as vitamin E to be properly disposed of. Left unchecked and untreated, oxidation will cause the cellular structures to collapse with the following results:

  • Lowered immune system
  • Poor muscle function
  • Lowered energy
  • Weight loss

DOES YOUR HORSE NEED SUPPLEMENTAL VITAMIN E?

So which horses should be given supplemental vitamin E?

  • Horses on limited or no grass, those who are restricted due to health conditions,
  • Horses on poor pasture, in climates where pasture grass is not plentiful,
  • Horses kept predominantly in stalls (show horses or racehorses)
  • Horses in competition or breeding
  • Young growing horses as well as seniors
  • High stressed horses may also benefit from vitamin E
  • Horses who tend to tie-up related to a nutritional deficiency of Vitamin E
  • Broodmares during their last trimester through lactation and rebreeding should also receive higher levels of this vitamin
  • Good to maintain overall health

WHITE HAVEN FARM BEST CHOICE VITAMIN E should be administered DAILY to working, breeding and growing horses.

Neurological Support - Research indicates that horses with compromised neurological function can benefit from the use of anti-oxidants like Vitamin E . Research has indicated 10,000 – 15,000 IU of Vitamin E daily is helpful for horses infected with the protozoa parasites to help support healthy immune system and normal mobilization of invading toxins.

Note: Avoid mixing any Vitamin E supplement with Iron supplements (hematinic) as this may reduce the potency of the vitamins in the formulation. If you are feeding an Iron supplement (hematinic) along with Vitamin E, feed in separate doses –E or Iron supplement (hematinic) in the morning and E or Iron supplement (hematinic) in the evening – this applies to all Vitamin E supplements and Iron supplements (hematinic) this avoids destroying the uptake of either product. Iron Supplement = Hematinic = example Select Equi-Cell
