Research has indicated 10,000 – 15,000 IU of Vitamin E daily is helpful for horses infected with the protozoa parasites to help support healthy immune system and normal mobilization of invading toxins.

Note: Avoid mixing any Vitamin E supplement with Iron supplements (hematinic) as this may reduce the potency of the vitamins in the formulation.If you are feeding an Iron supplement (hematinic) along with Vitamin E, feed in separate doses –E or Iron supplement (hematinic) in the morning and E or Iron supplement (hematinic) in the evening – this applies to all Vitamin E supplements and Iron supplements (hematinic) this avoids destroying the uptake of either product.
